eTIN registration which means Electronic Tax Identification Number(eTIN) registration process will be started in Bangladesh.This process will be done by online. NRB has has published a circular about this matter. The process will be started from July 1, 2013.
Another change will effect from July 1, 2013. As until now, TIN is 10 digit number. But in the new system, TAX Identification Number(TIN) number will be a 12 digit number.
All new taxpayer will get 12 digit number,also existing Tax payer also have to get new 12 digit TIN number.Anyone can get their new TIN number from home by fulfilling their information in the website www.incometax.gov.bd .
From January 1,2014 all 10 digit TIN number will be invalid. So NRB requested all taxpayer to collect new 12 digit TIN number for 2013-2014 year.
